values and solution focused
I take a strengths-oriented approach with my clients and more generally in life, assuming that each individual, couple, or family has areas of strength which can be focused on to help move towards a more meaningful and fulfilled life. Life circumstances and contexts create challenges for all of us. It can often be helpful to have a fellow traveler when trying to figure out what changes are needed and how to make them. I provide an empathic, nonjudgmental setting filled with curiosity, questioning, encouragement, and compassion to help clients define and make meaningful change. It is an honor and privilege to walk that path with my clients, and I am inspired and energized daily by the courage, vulnerability, and humanity of the people with whom I work.
